A good May

The Kesko Group has announced sales of € 284.4 mio in May for its building and DIY stores, which amounts to an increase of 16.3 per cent on the same month last year. For Finland the Kesko Group reports an increase of 14.5 per cent, while the international stores saw a change of +17.9 per cent in euros, or +18.5 per cent in local currency. Growth of 8.3 per cent to € 533.8 mio is revealed for Finland over the first five months of the year. The plus for the Kesko Group’s entire building and DIY division, both at home and abroad, stands at 12.4 per cent and a total of € 1.1062 bn.
