The VDG (association of German garden centres) sees a boom in the green industry. Appreciable growth was produced in the first quarter and by the Easter business

The garden centres in Germany recorded first-quarter sales growth of up to ten per cent on the same period last year. This is revealed in a statement from the VDG (Verband Deutscher Garten-Center). According to this information, there was increased customer traffic and slightly higher sales per customer. As the VDG reports, the positive mood of consumers over Easter caused a boom in the green industry through sales of all kinds of products for the garden, balcony and patio.
