Stroy Arsenal opens sixth store nearly 30 000 m² in size

Russia’s biggest DIY store opened for business on Easter Saturday. It is the sixth store belonging to Stroy Arnsenal, a Russian DIY chain. Located in Yekaterinburg, the outlet boasts a retail area of 28 000 m², which makes it far bigger than the company’s five previous branches that range from 6 000 to 13 000 m² in size. The new location has been designed not only as a DIY store but as a commercial centre for DIY and furnishings. In addition to the core DIY and garden product ranges available at Stroy Arsenal, some tenants offer related categories such as furniture, fixtures and fittings, or pet products. Moreover, this DIY department store also accommodates cafés and a play area for children. Customers can make use of a drive-in for picking up heavy or bulky purchases as well.
