Israelis expand in Russia

Home Center, an Israeli DIY chain, is extending its network of stores in Russia. It opened its second DIY store in Moscow, the fifth in the country altogether, at the end of April. The store, which is over 9 000 m² in size, has a product offer covering more than 50 000 articles, 20 000 of which are seasonal goods and promotions geared to dachas. In contrast to most of the other large DIY stores, this branch is located on an accessible inner-city site. Since 2007 the operator, Home Centers Ltd, has opened one store in Russia each year.
