Focus on sustainable products

This year there were 1 060 companies exhibiting at Domotex Asia/Chinafloor, ten per cent more than the previous year and a higher total than ever before. The attendance figure of 39 343 did not quite achieve the record level of last year’s event. The organisers of the fair, held from 22 to 24 March 2011, have only just published the figures. They report a high propensity to buy and invest on the part of the visitors from China and the Asia-Pacific region. In a statement they explain that the fair facilitates access to the booming markets of China and Southeast Asia for companies from Europe and America in particular. Sustainable products provided a major theme for the exhibitors, as well as for the special displays and forums.
