European networking

On the occasion of the suppliers’ forum organised in Austria by Euro-Mat, an international cooperative of independent builders’ and timber merchants, Eurobaustoff of Bad Nauheim was selected for the award of Partner of the Year 2010 for its Europe-wide networking efforts. In the words of the jury, the award was decided on the basis of the company’s “good and constructive commitment over the past year, which consisted of attracting major suppliers for listing within the Euro-Mat system and expanding the scope of collaboration for the future”. Euro-Mat, which is headquartered in Luxemburg, was founded in 1989 and is represented by partners in 23 countries. It has a portfolio of 22 members with over 4 000 outlets that achieve sales of around € 24 bn.
