The Austrian 3e AG increased sales in 2010 by 0.8 per cent to € 629 mio. Whereas sales in Austria rose by 2.3 per cent to € 409 mio, business abroad experienced a decline of 4.0 per cent to € 120 mio. The organisation’s international business had suffered a double-digit decline in 2009. During the current year the specialist dealer-owned group expects sales to grow by between two and three per cent in Austria and by up to 15 per cent abroad, according to chairman Günther Pacher. The number of outlets in Bosnia is to increase from 12 to 21, and in Hungary by four to 40. Expansion is to continue in Montenegro as well, though Pacher assesses the developments in Serbia, Albania, Kosovo and Romania with restraint.
