Coop Bau+Hobby opens the first garden centres developed with Dehner

Today has seen the official opening by the Swiss DIY retailer, Coop Bau+Hobby, of the two garden centres that have been designed afresh in cooperation with Dehner, a German garden centre multiple. The process of renovating and extending the garden sales areas to around 1 500 m² each has resulted in more room for the range of live plants in particular. Coop Bau+Hobby intends to have a total of 18 garden centres affiliated to DIY stores in operation by 2015. Each will feature a minimum sales area of 1 500 m² and be designed according to the new concept. Twelve existing locations are to be refurbished to achieve this, and six new stores will be built.
