New Screwfix showroom

Last week the Kingfisher distribution channel Screwfix opened a brand new concept store showcasing its bathroom range in Stoke on Trent in the UK. It is the latest addition to the company’s 161 branches and the first to feature a 300 m2 showroom adjacent to its main trade counter. Every item from the bathroom range is presented either on the walls or included in the many room layouts that feature in the store. The concept “cleverly blends the needs of the inspirational-seeking consumer shopper with the component-led catalogue layout demanded by the trade purchaser,” explains Andrew Livingstone, the commercial director of Screwfix.
