New member in Russia

Start, a Russian DIY chain, is a new member of Edra, the European DIY Retail Association. The chain was founded in 2006 and currently has six stores in Saint Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Samara, Voronezh and Ufa. Edra gives a figure of 40 000 m² for the chain’s combined retail area. Annual sales amount to around US $ 70 mio, and the stores carry a range of 55 000 products. Start is the fourth member of Edra’s Global Home Improvement Network (GHIN) in Russia, giving the association an overall total of 30 members.
