DIY International author Bob Vereen is publishing a new book, “Successful Web Retailing”, written in collaboration with Dennis Stillwell, a New York internet specialist. Mr Vereen, who has been involved in the American hardware industry for many decades now, writes for the publishing house of Dähne’s trade magazine DIY International, and its DIYglobal online news service as well. As the authors are keen to point out, the new book explains in 14 chapters written in “non-technical language” for non-nerds, or those who are not computer freaks, what retailers can do to make their web sites easier to find and to reach potential customers more efficiently. The topics dealt with include search engine optimization, social media, blogs and e-mail marketing. Readers are also offered hints on how to keep their web sites up-to-date and to alter them without any special technical know-how. Further information at www.successfulwebretailing.com.
