Bricorama continues on growth path in Q3

The French DIY retailer records growth of 6.5 per cent in Q3

Sales growth of 6.5 per cent was achieved by Bricorama, a French DIY retailer, in the third quarter. That is this year’s highest quarterly increase. The 95 stores in France accounted for a € 125.3 mio share of the total sales volume, which amounted to € 189.2 mio; growth here was 8.1 per cent. The company recorded sales of around € 57.5 mio in Belgium and the Netherlands; the 39 Belgian stores, which Bricorama operates as an Intergamma franchisee, were responsible for the 3.2 per cent increase here, while the 27 Netherlands outlets forfeited sales. The eight Bricorama stores in Spain gained 5.2 per cent for a sales total of € 6.4 mio. For the first nine months the company reveals sales of € 530.3 mio and growth of 4.5 per cent. It has over 169 stores altogether, and a futher 26 operated by franchisees.
