Rona wants Truserv Canada

Rona, a Canadian hardware distributor and retailer, intends to buy Truserv Canada, a dealer-owned distributor. The two companies have signed an agreement on the purchase of all the shares. Truserv Canada operates two warehousing and distribution centres 37 000 m² and 23 000 m² in size, and its distribution sales amount to more than C $ 100 mio. The distributor serves more than 650 independent dealers, 250 of whose stores operate under the True Value, V&S and Country Depot banners.
