Energy-efficient lamps are coming in

GfK Retail and Technology France has established that the market for energy-efficient lamps in France has seen growth of 32 per cent since the beginning of this year. Last year more than 60 mio conventional light bulbs were sold in France. The market researchers estimate that the EU-wide ban on light bulbs of 60W and over from September 2010 will cost the old technology around 40 per cent of the total volume.
