Nick Wilkinson, CEO of Maxeda, a Dutch DIY retailer, will leave the company at the end of the year. This information comes from an announcement by Edra, the European DIY retail association, whose board he will also be quitting. His successor is to be George Adams, who has been CEO of Spicers, the UK office supplies wholesaler, for a year now. Previously Adams was a member of the Kingfisher board and president of Edra. Maxeda operates DIY stores under a variety of banners in the Netherlands and Belgium.
