Three per cent growth for Clas Ohlson

The Swedish company recorded sales in excess of SEK 1.3 bn from May to July

Sales at Clas Ohlson saw an increase of three per cent to SEK 1.324 bn in the first quarter of the current financial year (May – July) compared with the same period last year. In August the Swedish DIY retailer achieved an increase of eight per cent to SEK 480 mio. The intention is to open between 17 and 22 more stores during this financial year, 15 of them before Christmas. Six further outlets are to be added to the seven already in existence in the United Kingdom.
