Home Depot presents sales figures

For the second quarter of the fiscal year (ended 1 August) the DIY chain Home Depot reported an increase in sales of 1.8 per cent to US $ 19.4 bn compared with the same period last year. The growth forecast for the financial year as a whole is 2.6 per cent. The chain currently operates 2 244 outlets, 1 976 of which are in the USA.
