Clas Ohlson sees growth overall but is running on the spot in Sweden

The Swedish DIY group Clas Ohlson increased sales in June by five per cent to SEK 442 mio over the same month last year. Business in the Swedish home market simply marked time, in contrast to Norway where sales grew by nine per cent. The company’s stores in the United Kingdom have trebled sales figures in that country (a plus of 176 per cent, or 203 per cent in local currency). Sales in Finland were six per cent down because of the exchange rates; though there was an increase of seven per cent here when calculated in local currency.
