Slight minus for Grafton Group

Grafton, the Irish building supplies and DIY group that is active in the United Kingdom and Ireland, recorded sales of € 990 mio in the first six months. That is one per cent down on the same period last year. In Ireland, where the company’s operations include the Woodie’s DIY and Atlantic Homecare chains, there was a sales decline of 22 per cent in the first quarter and ten per cent in the second.
