Even same-store results in double digits

Rona, the Canadian DIY and home improvement group, recorded double-digit growth in the first quarter. The sales figure of C $ 951.4 mio represents an increase of 12.5 per cent on the same period last year, or 10.8 per cent in like-for-like terms. The company attributes this growth to several factors: both the favourable property market and the weather, together with an in-house incentive scheme and a government programme of home improvement grants.
