Negative to end April

The distribution division in Europe of the Irish building materials and trading group CRH recorded same-store sales in January and February 17 per cent down on the first two months of last year. Like-for-like sales from January to the end of April were twelve per cent below last year's figure. The company is involved in the DIY trade through a number of participating interests in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.
