Bunnings, the Australasian home centre chain, has joined the Global Home Improvement Network (GHIN) as its fifth member. This also makes it an associate member of EDRA, the European DIY Retail Association, which now numbers a total of 23 members and associate members. According to information from EDRA, Bunnings' operations in Australia and New Zealand comprise 177 warehouse stores and 56 smaller DIY formats. The company recorded a turnover of AU $ 5.8 bn in the 2008/2009 financial year.
