Bavaria in the Balkans

Baywa, a German cooperative enterprise, has concluded a joint venture agreement on establishing a regional franchising company headquartered in Sarajevo with the Bosnian company Stanić Invest d.o.o.. This regional company is to function in the future as a central franchise service unit that will organise the franchising business in south-east Europe both for the DIY and garden store sector and for the builders’ merchant side. Initially the focus is to be on Bosnia-Herzegovina, followed by Croatia in the next stage of the operation.
