Fewer visitors once again

According to Messe Frankfurt, 72 000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries came to Heimtextil in Frankfurt from 13 - 16 January this year. That was 2 000 down on 2009, and as many as 14 000 fewer than the 2008 figure. Altogether this year there were 2 521 exhibitors (2009: 2 721; 2008: 2 844) participating from 60 countries. In spite of the downward attendance spiral, both atmosphere and visitor numbers in Hall 5.1, the focal point for the DIY sector, were very positive.
