Expansion in Canada

The Canadian subsidiary of Lowe’s, an American home improvement company, has announced plans for further expansion into western Canada. Of the 35 – 45 stores that Lowe’s intends to open in North America over the 2010 financial year, three are scheduled for Canada. The company, which has had a presence there since December 2007, currently operates 15 stores in Ontario.
