The GfK reports that DIY retailing has now reached a volume of € 20 bn

The Russian DIY retail market has now reached a volume of around € 20 bn, which makes it almost as big as the markets of Italy or the United Kingdom. This is made clear by a new GfK survey of DIY stores in Russia. Average per-capita spending by the Russian population of 144 mio is reported by the market researchers to amount to 40 per cent of the average for the countries of the European Union.
