No change

In October the monthly Home Improvement Industry Confidence Index, which is based on a survey of members of the American Hardware Manufacturers Association, remained unchanged on the previous month's level (September) of 45.8 points. By contrast the Future Expectations Index, which is also computed monthly, achieved a new high of 201.7 points in October, following a total of 191.4 points in September.
