Fastener Fair Stuttgart, Europe’s biggest trade fair for the fastener and fixing market, registered a record number of participants during the two days of the event, 7 – 8 October 2009. A total of 625 exhibiting companies, or 43 per cent more than in 2007, occupied the 10 000 m² of show space. The suppliers arrived in Stuttgart from 33 countries, 57 per cent of them from Europe. German, Italian and Asian companies recorded the greatest exhibitor growth of more than 50 per cent each. Figures from the organisers reveal that the number of visitors came to 3 783 (2007: approx. 3 500), of whom 83 per cent were from the EU. Next year’s Fastener Fair will take place in Budapest on 6 – 7 September. The next Fastener Fair Stuttgart will be open for business once again in 2011.
