Downward slide

The European housing construction industry will continue to feel the effects of the financial and economic crisis this year as well. According to Euroconstruct, new construction activity will go down by 20 per cent, while modernisation and renovation measures will decline by 3.5 per cent. A slight decline is also expected for 2010, then the market should start to recover in 2011.
