Leading trade fair for home textiles

Heimtextil, the biggest international trade fair for home and contract textiles, will be held in Frankfurt from 13 – 16 January 2010. Although some exhibitors are reducing the size of their stands, the organisers report an increase in new participants as well, for example in the sun protection and curtain accessories segments. A high level of participation is particularly apparent in the wall coverings and decoration segments. This year’s Heimtextil recorded 2 721 exhibitors from 64 countries and over 74 000 visitors from 121 countries. Germany was still the most strongly represented nation with 440 exhibitors and around 27 000 visitors.
