New managing director at Bau + DIY

On 14 September 2009, Ralf Rahmede is taking up the position of second managing director alongside Dr Peter Wüst at the German manufacturers' association Bau + DIY. Wüst is leaving the association on 1 January 2010 to switch to the same post at the German Association of DIY Retailers and Garden Centres, BHB. Rahmede spent over 12 years at Tesa AG prior to the move. Bau + DIY represents over 120 national and international industrial firms with ranges for the home, garden, tools and construction.
