New store opening in Bulgaria

Baumax opened its fourth Bulgarian store in Sofia on 25 August 2009. The new store has a retail area of 14 000 m² and a range categorised according to the four Baumax worlds: construction, interior, tools and garden. The operator highlights the store’s special feature, a 5 300 m² drive-in facility for construction materials. Austrian market leader Baumax has had a foothold in Bulgaria since 2007, with three previous store openings in Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Burgas.
