Upward sales trend

British garden centres were able to clock up a sales increase of 5 per cent over the 12 months to June 2009. This is revealed by the GCA Barometer of Trade, which looks into the sales trend of 54 leading independent garden centres in the United Kingdom. Smaller garden centres with sales of less than £ 2 mio achieved the greatest amount of growth, with sales during the period under consideration that were 9 per cent higher than the previous year.
