New at the top

Régis Degelcke, executive vice president strategy & development at Groupe Adeo, is the new president of the European DIY Retail Association (EDRA). He is taking over the position from George Adams, who is leaving after two and a half years to become the chief executive of Spicer, a leading European wholesaler of office products. Régis Degelcke has had 25 years of experience in the DIY industry, including eleven years as ceo of Leroy Merlin in France. While in France he made a significant contribution to developing synergies between the major players in the industry through the Fédération des Magasins de Bricolage or FMB (French DIY retail association). As EDRA's president he intends to strengthen the cohesion between the member companies in Europe, while enhancing their working relationships and furthering their interests.
