50 per cent of European consumers want to renew flooring in their homes

European consumers are keen to renew their floors: 50 per cent of the consumers in eight countries of Europe questioned within the context of a survey by InSites Consulting intend to replace their floors over the next five years. Ceramic floors are the most popular type, followed by wood and laminate. Consumers prefer specialist dealers when buying parquet (45 per cent) ahead of DIY stores (39 per cent).
