Garden fair in Japan

The Japanese garden trade fair Gardex will be open for business on the Makuhari exhibition site in Tokyo from 11 – 13 November 2009. The Ifex plant fair is to be staged at the same time, along with the first Extepo – International Exterior Expo Tokyo - which will cover the two product areas of outdoor living and building materials. Among the products to be found here are garden furniture, wooden decking, garages, fencing, gates and shade products. The organisers are reckoning with 1 000 exhibitors overall and 34 000 visitors. Last year’s event attracted just on 32 000 visitors from 45 countries to Tokyo.
