First-quarter figures

For the first quarter the Canadian Rona Group has announced a sales decline of 7.2 per cent to C$ 846 mio. A deficit of 8.5 per cent is reported in like-for-like terms. EBITDA fell 4.2 per cent to C$ 25.5 mio. The group recorded sales of C$ 617.09 mio in the retail division, which is 9.7 per cent less than in the same quarter last year. EBITDA here fell by 28.6 per cent to C$ 9.5 mio.
