The DIY markets in central and eastern Europe achieved double-digit rates of growth in 2008

The Dresdner-Celelem Kreditbank’s “European Consumer Barometer 2009” reveals that the DIY markets in central and eastern Europe achieved double-digit rates of growth in 2008. The survey reports growth of 11 per cent for Russia, 14 per cent for Slovakia, 17 per cent for Czechia and 20 per cent for Serbia.
