Results of a GfK survey: “Brand orientation in Europe”

Brand vs. price – depending on their nationality, European consumers pay more attention to one feature or another when shopping for a product. Germans and Austrians are influenced primarily by price. Spaniards, Italians, Poles and Russians, on the other hand, come to their buying decision mainly on the grounds of brand. These results are revealed in a survey carried out by GfK Nuremberg in nine European countries on consumers’ brand and price orientation.
