DIY store tour around Las Vegas

The Worldwide DIY Council, an association of north American manufacturers, is staging a DIY store tour in Las Vegas on 7 May 2009, the final day of the National Hardware Show. It will take participants to a modern Ace Hardware location, and also to Home Depot and Lowe’s, numbers one and two in the world of DIY retailing. The programme also includes a store belonging to Wal-Mart, the world’s biggest retailer. A reception with American manufacturers is scheduled to be held following the tour.
