Apparent rescue of Wolf-Garten

According to a communiqué from Wolf-Garten of Betzdorf, and various press reports as well, the future of the old-established German garden firm seems to be assured for the time being. Following the insolvency of Wolf-Garten GmbH & Co. KG at the beginning of January, and more recently that of Wolf-Garten Deutschland GmbH (which served as the sales company), they seem now to have succeeded in finding a strategic investor. This is MTD, a motorised garden equipment manufacturer, according to industry information. Wolf-Garten reports that production at the Betzdorf and St. Wendel works is assured, and deliveries guaranteed.
