DIY stores in Las Vegas

The Worldwide DIY Council, a North American manufacturers' association, is staging a DIY store tour during the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas on 7 May 2009. It will take participants to Wal-Mart, the world's biggest retailer. Then Home Depot and Lowe's, numbers one and two in the DIY retail world, are on the programme, and independent hardware dealers as well. Every participant will be given detailed information on the stores visited, including statistics. Following the tour there will be a reception with American manufacturers.
