Home Depot in trouble

Home Depot has announced the closure of Expo, since the 34-store sales channel has not performed well financially. What is more, Home Depot is closing down five Yard Birds stores, two Design Centers and the seven outlets of the HD Bath business. Around 5 000 employees are affected by these closures. A further 2 000 jobs will be lost through streamlining measures in the area of logistics. As a result, Home Depot says that this amounts to a two per cent reduction of its workforce overall.
