German manufacturer Wolf-Garten has filed an insolvency petition. Dr Klaus Ortmüller of Betzdorf has been appointed as temporary insolvency administrator. He has announced that he is looking to find a lasting recovery plan. His efforts will include continuing discussions with strategic investors. The company, which employs a workforce of around 450, is to remain in operation. The company admitted to cash flow problems shortly before Christmas, then came a change in top management last week. However, there had been rumours and critical voices from the retail side for some time previously. On the other hand, though, the company says that the order book is still full.
