The CSIL believes that changes are happening in the European market for kitchen furniture

A market survey by CSIL of Milan reports that the European market for kitchens, which nowadays represents a total of € 13.431 bn, is in a state of flux. Changes are evident in the materials used, the distribution structures, and in links to the electrical appliances industry. According to CSIL, melamine products are dominant when it comes to surfaces, where they have a 53 per cent share, followed by veneers at 26 per cent. Sales of kitchen furniture rose by 15 per cent in both the starter and the premium segments in 2007.
