Marshall A. Croom to become Chief Risk Officer as of 31 January

The American DIY retailer Lowe’s has appointed Marshall A. Croom to the company’s board with effect from 31 January 2009. Croom is to take over the tasks of risk analysis and management for Lowe’s in his capacity as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and will report directly to CEO Robert Niblock. Croom is moving to Lowe’s from Ernst & Young, a management consultancy.
