Growth for parquet market

The European parquet market experienced growth in 2007, according to research by the European Federation of the Parquet Industry (FEP). This reveals that the industry’s combined production in the area covered by the FEP increased by 2.5 per cent. This result was mainly influenced by developments in Poland, France and the Czech Republic. Consumption rose even more strongly than production: here a growth rate of 4.9 per cent was recorded.
