Successful fair run

This year 8 per cent more visitors than last year came to Tokyo for Gardex and Ifex, the Japanese garden and plant fairs. From 30 October to 1 November 2008 the organisers of the multi-trade event registered 31 891 trade visitors and 846 exhibitors. At 295, the number of exhibitors at the garden trade fair Gardex more than doubled this year (110 last year). They came from 20 different countries.
