In the completed 2007/08 financial year Danks Holdings, an Australian company, achieved sales of AU $ 560.6 mio, which amounts to an increase of 0.3 per cent on the previous year. Net profit rose by 3.1 per cent to AU $ 4.02 mio. Danks Holdings is one of the biggest Australian wholesale distributors of products to the hardware and garden sectors. It supplies around 1 900 independent dealers, 680 of whom trade under the three Danks retail brand names: Home Timber and Hardware, Thrifty-Link Hardware and Plants Plus.
