New member

Euro-Mat, the pan-European buying cooperative, has gained a new member in Finland following the departure of Rautakesko. Puukeskus, the Finnish builders’ merchant chain, is to become a new member of the cooperative organisation effective 1 January 2009. According to information supplied by Euro-Mat, the chain is market leader in Finland, with 25 outlets and sales in excess of € 500 mio. What is more, the Helsinki-based company also operates six stores in St Petersburg and one in Tallinn, Estonia.
